Founders & Key Figures

The 1998-born Tsinghua dropout who founded Noetix Robotics and shipped a humanoid for under 10,000 yuan.
Jiang Zheyuan (姜哲源, born 1998) is the founder and chairman of Noetix Robotics (松延动力), a Beijing-based humanoid robot maker founded in September 2023. He entered Tsinghua's Department of Electronic Engineering as the 28th-ranked student in Beijing's gaokao, and was pursuing a PhD in reinforcement learning before dropping out to start the company.
Noetix shot to prominence at the first Beijing Humanoid Half-Marathon in 2025, where its metre-tall N2 robot — running at 3.2 m/s — took second and third place. In 2026 the company appeared on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala and launched "Bumi" (小布米), a consumer humanoid priced at 9,998 yuan — one of the cheapest full humanoids on the market. Jiang has repeatedly argued that the future of humanoids is volume, and that a sub-10,000-yuan price point is what unlocks scale. The company has raised close to 200 million RMB across rounds including a Pre-B+ in late 2025.
